　　Your Role and Responsibilities

　　As DB2 DBA specialist, you are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

　　DB2 server administration with installation, configuration, working knowledge, and have outstanding work experience in fixing agent issues

　　Drive and manage agile framework and Kanban/Scrum methodologies are required to be part of agile squad to carry the day to day BAU activities

　　Provide complete services to the clients using working knowledge in z platform

　　Required Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Education Qualification as BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech

　　Total years of relevant experience as 9-12 years

　　Hands on experience as DBA in supporting applications using database products like DB2.

　　Additional knowledge or experience in products like My SQL Server, Neteeza is an advantage.

　　Basic tasks include Installation and configuration of Databases, Back up, Restoring databases, setting up High Availability, Disaster recovery, performance tuning, RAC administration, regular Housekeeping etc.

　　Needs to work out of Client location in Navi Mumbai and must be willing to work in shifts.

　　Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

　　Certified in the use DB2 tool - DB2 Admin tools, QMF, craft on tool such as DB2 Omegamon

　　Ability to rebind the Plans/Packages, Granting required accesses to Packages/Plans/Collections

　　Experience in Database Monitoring- DB2 tool omegamon to check current trace/status of any object

　　Proficient in troubleshooting DB2 system log and bring up the problem if it cannot be fixed

　　You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies

　　Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work

　　Intuitive individual to manage change and proven time management

　　Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

　　Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications

　　Basic procedure of DB2 system/tools applying PTF and tools upgrade
