  Your role at Clorox:

  The storeroom lead will be responsible for maintaining a properly stocked spare parts room. The lead will be responsible for ordering parts, coaching storeroom attendants and addressing any storeroom needs in a timely manner. The lead must demonstrate a working knowledge of basic mechanical, electrical, and control principles and how they apply to rebuilt and spare parts. The lead will demonstrate a strong understanding of facility and machine maintenance. They will use the CMMS (currently SAP) to maintain the proper inventory of parts and to obtain information on parts and equipment, including usage and history. They will use technical and OEM manuals and web sites to identify and cross reference parts. They will use vendor websites to help manage the purchase of spare parts. They will possess strong communication skills and a helpful attitude. Audit and ensure proper accountability, organization, and cleanliness of all maintenance parts storage areas. Compensation: $29.22 per hour.

  In this role, you will:

  Perform ordering of both MRO, non-MRO, stock, and non-stock parts in SAP daily

  Perform new parts set up on a weekly basis.

  Perform overdue/outstanding PO reports in all current purchasing systems on a weekly basis and address issues (i.e., overdue, missing receipts, etc.…)

  Correctly clear all invoice and P.O. issues to ensure timely payments.

  Address out of stock parts daily.

  Manage obsolescence parts and remove from plant. Delete SAP part numbers as needed.

  Review the effectiveness of parts kitting with maintenance team and update (add or delete) as needed.

  Ensure repair parts are sent to vendors in a timely manner.

  Provide guidance and support for Storeroom attendants.

  Complete new Vendor set ups when needed.

  Support Maintenance planners daily.

  Manage the cycle count process.

  Escalate all unresolved issues to Maintenance manager daily.

  Promptly use multiple forms of communication to update Maintenance manager.

  Manage storeroom window for non-MRO parts needs – sundry items and MRO parts needs – Planned WO’s and Emergency WO’s.

  Properly sign parts in and out of SAP to the unit-op level

  Coach general plant population on plant WO system (SAP) – enter WO’s, parts identification, inventory levels, etc.

  Proper receiving and tracking of both MRO, non-MRO, stock, and non-stock parts in SAP.

  Ensure proper flow of paperwork and information between storeroom, AP and receiving.

  Proper disposition of non-stock parts in SAP and then immediately into kits or to departments.

  Perform parts ranking.

  Perform frequent data entry into computer systems.

  May be required to perform team coordination activities related to team safety, quality, production scheduling or other core business functions.

  Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner.

  Complete all required training in a timely manner.

  Complete other routine and unique tasks and projects as assigned.

  What we look for:

  Ability to tolerate sustained standing/walking up to 10 hours a day.

  Ability to perform occasional to frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.

  Ability to frequently lift/carry tool belt, weight ranges 7 lbs. to 15 lbs.

  Ability to utilize good eye-hand coordination.

  Ability to perform occasional bending and squatting.

  Ability to tolerate kneeling and/or crawling in confined spaces.

  Ability to tolerate exposure to non-weather-related hot temperatures.

  Ability to frequently use coordination and dexterity in fingers while wearing protective gloves.

  Ability to push/pull material weighing up to 50 lbs.

  Ability to frequently climb and descend stairs.

  Ability to reach to floor level, overhead and forward to work on machines.

  Ability to maintain grip and manual dexterity in manipulation of hand tools for extended periods.

  Must be at least 18 years old.

  High school diploma or G.E.D.

  Ability to understand instructions, work procedures, reason and make judgments, problem solve, plan, coordinate, and direct own work while coping with a variety of duties and expectations.

  Ability to work occasional mandatory overtime shifts.

  Ability to communicate clearly and distinctly (oral and written) with peers and supervisors.

  Ability to perform effectively under stressful conditions, prioritizing job duties while working with team members.

  Ability to problem solve, making decisions quickly without direct supervision.

  Ability to perform a variety of duties involving frequent changes of tasks that may involve application of different aptitudes, techniques, procedures, physical demands, or degrees of attentiveness without loss of efficiency or composure.

  Ability to interact in a consultative manner with co-workers, engineers, mechanics, and electrical technicians.

  Ability to complete all required safety and training courses.

  Good numerical aptitude is required to make accurate numerical measurements, calculate dimensions, calculate value and size of circuitry components, compute and list total quantity of materials needed from blueprints and specifications, to estimate cost of raw materials, and to compute quantity of sizes or parts needed for each segment of the project.

  Excellent learning ability to understand and interpret instructions and detailed work procedures, reason and make judgments related to these procedures, plan, coordinate, and direct own work while coping with a variety of duties and expectations from co-workers, mechanics, electrical technicians, or engineers.

  Verbal aptitude is required to ask and answer pertinent questions of TPOs, mechanics, engineers, or electrical technicians, and to read and interpret technical manuals, charts, and parts manuals to select replacement parts.

  Ability to work with several specified deadlines and expectations related to the storeroom plan.

  Any other Job duties assigned by Management or Manager.
