About the role
The Storekeeper is part of the Procurement team. He/she is responsible for ensuring the receiving, distribution to the clientele and storage of material.
Essential Duties
Receive, unload, identify and control material.
Store the articles in an orderly manner so that they are easily accessible in the warehouse.
Update the registers and an inventory system, using a computerized system.
Respect, know and promote company regulations and policies, particularly with regard to health and safety.
Palletize the material when it leaves the site according to the applicable transportation. standards.
Perform all other tasks related to the performance of the duties of the position.
Training & Experience
Education relevant to the job, minimum DEC preferred
Minimum 1 to 3 years' relevant experience in stock management or logistics
Knowledge of SAP system and Microsoft Office suite
Experience in shipping and transportation management
Experience in forklift driving (an asset)
Wheel loader operation (an asset).
Bilingualism, French and English (an asset)
