JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for reporting daily to the project surveyoron project status. Independently leads survey crew members and or canwork alone. Coordinate on-site with clients, contractors, and otherconsultants to efficiently complete daily tasks. Perform processing andreduction of field data, and survey computations in office. \' Setup andoperate survey equipment to collect survey data. \' Prepare dailyreports as directed. \' create accurate and complete survey field work.\' Maintain hand tools and survey equipment. \' Carry equipment and workin all types of weather and terrain. \' Work independently whenrequired. \' Safely operate hand tools and other equipment anddemonstrate safe work habits. \' Process and reduce field data, performsurvey computations, and manage final deliverables. JOB REQUIREMENTS: \'Prefer 3- 5 years\' experience as a Party Chief leading survey crews andperforming field work, including boundary, right of way, constructionstaking, and topographic survey activities. Willing to train. \'Knowledge and experience with Trimble instrumentation, Robotics, GPSequipment and laser scanning a plus. \' AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting skillspreferred but not required. \' Experience using general survey softwaresuch as Star*Net, data processing software and GPS proficient withgeneral office software such as Microsoft Word and Excel. \' Goodcommunication skills, both verbal and written required. \' Must becomfortable and able to work independently in the field, operating as aone-person crew. \' Must have valid driver\'s license and acceptablemotor vehicle record and pass drug test. \' Occasionally may be requiredto work out of town/overnight for short periods of time. \' Applicantmust be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods oftime.
