Your mission
Responsible for supporting the Data Science & Analytics transformation of the organization by implementing and executing the digital roadmap for i-Health, while proactively delivering business value and insights to support business needs and strategic vision.
Take ownership and responsibility for the delivery of digital content including data ingestion pipelines, data cleansing, data modelling, data structuring and ETL tasks, data science and visuals.
Be active and integral part of the digital innovation team and take ownership for implementation and execution of data engineering, data visualization and data science products and proof of concepts.
Code, script and create while ensuring timely processing of deliverables. Engage in, and promote, agile working processes and guarantee optimal and effective collaboration within i-Health.
Support interpretation, analysis and storytelling of digital solutions offering guidance and insights on quantitative and qualitative content.
Work in close co-operation with the BU leadership management team members to identify approaches, solutions and challenges for the data and analytics transformation.
The success of the role is highly dependent on technical skills and pragmatic ‘just get it done’ mindset, intellectual curiosity, ability to ‘think outside the box’ and willingness to step beyond one’s comfort-zones.
The Data Wrangler for Digital Innovation should be proactive, highly organized and experienced in implementing E2E digital solutions.
Good communication skills and the ability to relate to team members and within the business organization are crucial.
The Data Wrangler for Digital Innovation needs to be accepted as a trusted technical advisor and able to drive change and challenge the stakeholders in the business as well as in the external part of the ecosystem (e.g. suppliers, 3rd party data providers, research institutes etc.).

Your key responsibilities
Active involvement in the creation of PoCs and products on digital innovation, data science, data analytics and visualization. Create processing pipelines on structured and unstructured data from multiple sources and formats, aiming at creating value-adding data and data science solutions within an AWS framework.
Pragmatically deliver digital solutions and experimentations to innovate business capabilities and data-driven decision-making. Work in agile teams to deliver data products that solve business needs and contribute value for the organization achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Take ownership of the implementation, review and test of functional and technical designs for data ingestion and processing, executing and tracking the development of digital products. Liaise with team members, management, and users to ensure projects are completed timely and according to standard.
Identify technical risks and work with the team to form contingency plans accordingly, creating transparency about challenges, failures, and successes. Promote a space where other team members can ask questions and voice their concerns, promoting unbossed, diverse and inclusive cultures.
Present progress reports and deliver presentations to the relevant stakeholders. Keep up-to-date with both technical and industry trends and developments.

You bring
University degree in IT, Data Engineering or related field. Solid coding and scripting skills, e.g. in Python and/or R. Familiarity with agile development.
1-5 years of experience in data engineering and digital transformation. 1-5 years of experience in innovation and digital product development.
Experience in interpreting business requirements and transform them into effective analytics solutions. Experience in the consulting space is highly beneficial.
Solid experience with data engineering, preferably on AWS stack. Expertise in data engineering, ETL, data science and data visualization. All-round, hands-on experience in data wrangling, data analysis and visualization.
Ability and passion to work on complex, noisy, dynamic data sources. Proven ability to work with diverse groups of people in challenging, ambiguous and complex endeavours.
Proven ability to work directly and communicate effectively with all levels and groups across the organization, explaining technical issues in a complete, accurate, and understandable manner. Work with global, diverse and dynamic teams both in person and virtually.
