　　The Data Scientist II performs advanced data analysis and modeling on complex datasets to drive data-driven decision-making within the organization. They also evaluate, optimize, and/or develop models that are tailored to the mission set of the customer. The Data Scientist II works closely with cross-functional teams that include business owners, Data Engineers, and other IT stakeholders. They implement statistical models and provide actionable insights to optimize business processes. The Data Scientist II takes direction from more senior personnel.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　4+ years of experience

　　Bachelors Degree in related discipline (candidate holding a relevant Master’s degree may be granted 2 years’ experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years’ experience credit)

　　High School Diploma + 8 years of experience will also be considered

　　Active Top Secret clearance with Full-Scope Policy

　　DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification

　　Desired Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in Software Development

　　4 years of experience in an Agile development environment

　　Physical Requirements:

　　Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

　　Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

　　Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

　　Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

　　The projected compensation range for this position is $70,000-$117,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
