　　What you will do

　　We are looking for highly motivated individuals to help design and develop new data initiatives in our awesome Data Science team, whose mission is to accelerate innovation and technology in machine learning, and to have firm-wide impact using data science to solve strategic problems. There is a rich problem space waiting for you across all areas of the business including product, sales, marketing, operations, product, etc. and the potential to have large scale impact.The ideal candidate's favorite words are learning, data, scale, and agility. You will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets to ask the right questions and find the right answers.

　　A typical day

　　Develop predictive models, advanced analytics solutions and visualization tools for the end customer or internal teams. Some initial initiatives include: scoring models for sales and customer service, recommendation systems or automating repeatable tasks done by humans to free them up to work on the tasks that require their human intelligence.

　　Develop complex analysis for business stakeholders. Understand the problem and the key metrics.

　　Own the feedback loop of testing and improving the created models.

　　Propose and measure A/B Test analysis related to product features. Understand the value proposition of each new feature.

　　Find data opportunities to improve the different stages of the customer journey. Understand business objectives and goals working together with other business departments.

　　Work closely with data engineering and infrastructure to build out end to end solutions.

　　Act as a technical representative with external stakeholders on behalf of the team.

　　Address performance issues

　　Recommend and implement new technologies, processes, security adjustments and systems to increase efficiencies, productivity, customer engagement, and company revenue.

　　Specify, evaluate and approve design and implementation partnering with the team

　　Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging developments and trends in technology that could impact or influence current and future product development

　　Understand business flows to apply criteria on how to solve issues with technology

　　Find data opportunities to improve the different stages of the customer journey.

　　Create and deliver detailed technical documentation and presentations

　　Produce clean and efficient code based on specifications.

　　Address performance issues

　　Understand business flows and Company operations.

　　What you need to succeed

　　Communications skills for translating technical or statistical analysis results into business recommendations.

　　Extensive knowledge of visualization frameworks Plotly, Seaborn...

　　Extensive experience with Python.

　　Excellent English communication skills

　　Extensive knowledge of SQL.

　　Experience with data modeling and analysis.

　　Experience cloud infrastructure and deployment processes.

　　Experience with clean code principles

　　Good knowledge of Git

　　Familiarity with cloud environments (Google Cloud, AWS, ...)

　　Good to have: Knowledge of best practices around service-oriented architectures or microservices.

　　Good to have: Experience building and measuring experiments, A/B Tests

　　Team player.

　　Usually BSc/BA in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Physics, Engineering or a related field.

　　Your first contact with CoverWallet will be through an HR interview with one of our colleagues from the Talent Acquisition area, who will tell you everything about our company and its history, as well as the details of the position, functions and your future conditions. We would love to know your professional and academic career, and of course, your motivations and expectations for a new professional project. We will be happy to answer all your questions!

　　Do we have a match? Let’s move on to your First Technical Interview! You will meet two of the leaders from the Data Science team, who will explain to you in more detail what the team's day-to-day life is and its responsibilities. They will be very interested in expanding information about your experience as a Data Scientist as well as your knowledge of our main technological environments.

　　If everything has gone well and you have impressed our colleagues... we advance to the second stage of the process! We will send you a data challenge based on a case study to find out your technical level and you will have a maximum of 7 days to complete it.

　　If you've made it this far, things are getting interesting... It's time for your Final Interview! In this case, you will have the opportunity to meet one of our Heads of Data and Engineering, who will close the selection process with an interview aimed at getting to know you not only on a professional and technical level, but also on a personal level, so that both of you can reach the conclusion of whether the purpose of our project fits with your professional aspirations.
