Description

　　SAIC is seeking a Data Scientist to join our team in Fort Moore, Georgia.

　　This position supports the Maneuver Battle Lab’s Modeling & Simulation Branch (MSB) at Fort Moore, GA. The candidate will work in the Analysis and Data Cell to support Army experimentation.

　　Responsibilities :

　　Work includes all facets of data analysis and data management throughout the planning, preparation, execution, and reporting phases of each virtual and constructive experiment.

　　Candidate must interpret and apply simulation outcomes to support the experiment Final Report and assist in the preparation of modeling and simulation plans.

　　Candidate will assist in the writing of study reports and participate in the development of scientific briefings of experimentation requirements and outcomes.

　　Responsible for the planning, preparation, execution, and analysis phases of constructive, computer-based experimentation.

　　Develop data analysis software products to achieve experiment objectives.

　　Develop and troubleshoot databases to ensure proper functionality.

　　Assist other members of M&S team during verification and validation activities and in the Simulation Control Cell or Analysis Cell during experiment execution.

　　Qualifications

　　Required Education :

　　Bachelors and two (2) years or more experience; Masters and zero (0) years related experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

　　Qualifications :

　　Experience in Data Reduction.

　　Excellent analytical and reasoning skills.

　　Possess the ability to operate independently.

　　Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in the use of statistical tools.

　　Must be proficient with Microsoft office: MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

　　Should have experience constructing and executing Structured Query Language (SQL) queries.

　　Must have software programming experience for data analysis such as C++, R, Python, MS Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), and/or gcc.

　　Clearance :

　　Candidate must be able to obtain a full Secret clearance.
