Job summary
The Data Analytics and Reporting (DART) Enterprise Analytics team's mission is to provide high-quality dashboards & insights that executive leadership will use to monitor KPIs, steer the business, and make investment decisions. This team will constantly balance the need for speed with the importance of providing accurate results, to enable leadership to make informed decisions with agility & precision.
You will be part of a team who will take a loosely-defined idea, find & acquire the relevant data, design & build the dashboards, develop the automated workflows, and document the details.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for delivering data insights and visualizations using Tableau & Alteryx
Develop and enhance Alteryx workflows, collecting data from disparate data sources and summarizing the data as defined in requirements gathering with the stakeholders
Develop and deliver practical data insights in a compelling manner actionable by senior leadership using presentations, discussions, and visualizations
Conduct thorough validation of the solution insuring that all data and visualizations are reporting accurate insights
Handle large amounts of data from multiple and disparate sources
Maintain current dashboards and Alteryx workflows
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Have a broad understanding of Financial Services, and be able to think about how the business operates at an executive level
Be able to take a vaguely-defined concept and develop analytical approaches that bring clarity and answers to an executives high-level questions
Possess strong documentation and organizational skills
Be fluent in Tableau Desktop and be able to build compelling dashboard visualizations with accurate and precise storytelling
Have strong understanding in best practices data visualization concepts with demonstrated ability to select and implement most impactful visualization of data for providing actionable insights
Design and implement user-friendly and dynamic user interface and dashboards in Tableau Desktop, also fluent in Alteryx Designer
Contain extensive expertise and experience in visual, interaction and user interface design
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
5+ years in data analytics roles
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, MIS or equivalent experience
Alteryx Designer Core Certification and a Tableau Desktop Certified Associate preferred
Experience with SQL variants for querying various database platforms
