We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Specialist in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This role is pivotal in the efficient management of data within our organization. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be tasked with managing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role is integral in ensuring the smooth operation of our data systems.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate data entry into relevant databases or software programs.

• Review and rectify any errors or inconsistencies in the data.

• Ensure secure and confidential handling of information at all times.

• Conduct high-volume data entry tasks within stipulated deadlines.

• Support team members and participate in the overall data management process.

• Create and manage spreadsheets with significant figures and data.

• Conduct routine maintenance and backup of data.

• Collaborate with teams to promote efficiency and accuracy in tasks.

• Efficiently process customer credit applications.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Proficiency in 10 Key Skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Experience in data entry

• Ability to manage email correspondence effectively

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Experience in organizing files

• Ability to perform calculations accurately

• Proficiency in scanning documents
