Job Description

　　One of Insight Global's clients is looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing team. This resource will be responsible for expanding and optimizing data and data pipeline architecture, as well as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functional teams. The ideal candidate is an experienced data pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing data systems and building them from the ground up. The Data Engineer will support the team's application developers, database architects, data analysts, and data scientists on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. Candidates can be remote but must be open to EST hours.

　　Skills and Requirements

　　7+ years of data engineering experience with a degree in a related field

　　Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.

　　Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MS SQL Server, Postgres, Cassandra, etc.

　　Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.

　　Experience with data integration services solutions from vendors such as Informatica, MuleSoft, Talend, TIBCO, etc.

　　Experience with cloud-based data services such as AWS (EC2, Glue, EMR, RDS, Redshift, etc.) and/or Azure (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, etc.)

　　Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc.

　　Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, R, Java, C++, Scala, etc. null
