　　Data Engineer (Mulesoft Developer)

　　Location: Atlanta, GA – Perimeter Area- You must live in Atlanta to apply for the role

　　Robert Half is looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will be responsible for designing, enhancing, and maintaining our organization's data infrastructure including Azure Dedicated SQL Pools, Data Lakes, and traditional on-premise SQL servers. This position designs, builds and manages data pipelines connecting to both on-premise and cloud sources using SSIS as well as Azure Data Factory. The Data Engineer works closely with the Data & Analytics team to ensure that our data infrastructure is efficient, reliable, and scalable.

　　Requirements

　　Primary Duties & Responsibilities

　　Designs, enhances, and maintains Data Warehouse and Data Lake.

　　Monitors system performance.

　　Designs, enhances, and maintains data pipelines connecting to both on-premise and cloud sources using SSIS as well as Azure Data Factory.

　　Develops and maintains documentation for data pipelines and data processing systems.

　　Ensures that data quality and data integrity are maintained throughout the data pipeline.

　　Collaborates with other technology teams to ensure that our data infrastructure is integrated with other systems and platforms.

　　Implements data security and privacy measures to protect sensitive data.

　　Education & Experience

　　Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

　　1 – 3 years of experience developing Power BI Reports and Dashboards.

　　1-3 years of experience with MuleSoft (or other middleware) experience on top of Data Engineering technical expertise.

　　Skills & Abilities

　　Proficiency in T-SQL and Python.

　　MuleSoft experience

　　Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory.

　　Knowledge of both on premise and cloud database management systems.

　　Strong understanding of data modeling principles and best practices.

　　Familiarity with Big Data concepts such as Multi Parallel Processing and Modern Cloud Data Warehouse Architecture.

　　Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

　　Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.

　　Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
