　　Position Summary

　　Under the supervision of the Director of Data Analytics & Financial System Innovations will assist and support the Office of Data Analytics to ensure that the office is following the school’s policy and maintain internal control of financial data. This position provides informational system support to the daily operations of data analytics through consultation, data analysis, and data maintenance.

　　Minimum Qualifications

　　Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Degree must be from a regionally accredited college or university.

　　Experience:

　　2 years experience working with large data sets, relational databases, and ERP reporting tools such as Cognos. Banner experience is preferred.

　　Experience using Microsoft Excel advanced functions and SQL statements.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　2+ years of experience with Banner.

　　Background in Accounting.

　　Job Duties

　　Description of Job Duty

　　Manage reporting requests from start to finish (gathering requirements, pulling data, compiling reports, analyzing data for anomalies, making recommendations)

　　Conduct end user training

　　Analyze data, ensure data integrity, and resolve errors

　　Manage and maintain Banner Finance user security profiles

　　Work closely with the Director of Data Analytics & Financial System Innovations and other Finance departments in Finance to create dashboard and other standard reports

　　Serve as liaison between Finance and Information Technology to organize, analyze and import physical inventory data

　　Provide analysis and research in support of the current business model, new business initiatives, and new projects

　　Work on ad-hoc projects as requested

　　Prepare monthly statistical reports, maintain validation tables, rules, forms, and Banner control reports

　　Assist the unit with the development and maintenance of the Policy and Procedure Manual

　　Maintain (edit/update) Finance website

　　Perform analysis for proper coding of expenses
