Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Lead Analyst for its Rutherford, NJ location.
Duties: Design, develop, and maintain analytics and data extraction, transformation, and loading solutions code in Citi’s Risk and Controls application. Focus on Data Migration, Data Map-Gap analysis, Data Quality analysis, Data Profiling, Data Integration, Data Cleansing, Metadata Management, Data Mining, and Data Visualization. Conduct requirements and data analysis on source data. Write extraction, transformation, and loading code for data transformations. Work with the development team to develop Business Intelligence and Data Visualization solutions that integrate with all application tiers, including user interface, middle-tier business components, and database layer. Create transformation solutions to business and technical teams in the Oracle database. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support for technical issues and inquiries related to Citi Risk and Control Database component. Collaborate on development efforts to enhance the capabilities of the audit analytic system on Citi Risk and Control related to source data and Internal Audit analytics data. Code, test, and implement enhancements utilizing SQL database and extraction, and transformation and loading framework. Work with various technology teams to implement strategic technical initiatives. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered, as a Data Analyst, or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Developing complex data mapping, data consolidation, and data modeling exercise for the application solution implementation; Developing business rules using the transformations techniques, including expression, aggregate, unconnected and connected lookup, router, update strategy, filter, joiner, and union, in designing the data quality standards for application solution implementation; Working with the feed providers for sourcing the data as a feed file and sourcing larger data into Big Data EAP Clusters for multiple application use cases; Working with the Business and Technical Information Security Manager on classifying data as a personally identifiable information, along with the remediation steps that need to be followed to comply with Information Security policy; Creating functional and data level entitlements users, roles, and user groups that will restrict access to only those Audit users that need to see the function and data, and accommodating the users in the respective user groups as per the specific group privileges; Creating code specifications that include new rules and strategies to be developed based on the requirements, building and managing ETL frameworks for financial systems using Java Spring Batch, and performing data mapping for financial systems using Erwin data intelligence; Performing query optimization, debugging, and tuning for financial systems using SQL Tuning Advisor via SQL Developer and analyzing data objects across shared schemas for deriving key data insights using Oracle SQL Developer. 40 hrs./wk.
