We are looking for a Data Analyst – Transit / Rail who will work under the direction of the Project Controls Manager. This position is responsible for the transmission of design, project deliverables and information to the contractors, ensuring overall accuracy and version control through applicable change management process. The Data Analyst shall also liaise with the Configuration Manager to ensure data accuracy and completeness, to establish a robust project baseline for project execution. The incumbent will preferably have experience with capital projects engineering deliverables management, contract administration systems (e.g. Oracle Unifier). A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience ideally within major transit infrastructure projects is an asset. You’ll use independent judgment and excellent organizational skills, while you coordinate data transmission (engineering and construction deliverables) in accordance with all company standards and contractual requirements.
This position performs in a fast-paced high energy team environment, supporting and assisting the Project Team through all project delivery phases for a large regional commuter transit project. The main phases of the project include Preliminary Design, Detail Design, Procurement and Construction contract administration.

Here’s what you’ll need :
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including Contract Administrators, Document Control, Submittals Coordinators, engineering, project delivery teams and other stakeholders to:
Ensure accurate data is being transmitted from the Contracting Authority to the Project Companies.
Implement configuration, change control standards and processes to provide governance.
Establish effective reporting metrics to help optimize transmittals.
Track data workflows to completion in accordance with the timescale requirements stated within the Project Agreement.
Build rapport and relationships with Project Team, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Maintain documentation of activities.
Provide input to reports to Executive Management.
Highly responsive and ability to act quickly under changing circumstances.
Highly organized with ability to process and efficiently coordinate multiple flow of data.
Effectively and positively influence Client and Stakeholder team members to comply with the data and configuration processes.
Excellent written and presentation communication skills are required.
Positive influencing skills.
Accountable to the Project Controls Manager.
You’ll also need:
Experience working in capital projects environment, data analytics or as part of a Project Management Team.
Strong Math and Analytical skills
Knowledge of Ontario transit infrastructure construction.
Understanding and practical application of contract administration and document management software - proficiency in Oracle Unifier and Aconex are preferred.
Understanding of project management principles is preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft suite Products with a strong emphasis on Excel, and PowerPoint, PowerBI, Power Automate, Sharepoint, Teams.
