ManTech is seeking a highly motivated and career-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst Subject Matter Expert to join our team! This position will support the DoD’s new electronic health record system, MHS Genesis, in a healthcare data analyst expertise role.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Data Quality Assurance: Review data sets for quality and consistency, mitigating any potential issues.
Data Mapping & Visualization: Map data elements into clear and informative data flow diagrams, aiding in understanding complex data relationships.
Data Dictionary Development: Define data dictionaries, providing context and meaning to each data element for users.
Troubleshooting and documenting DOD/VA HIE processing and issues getting documents from partners through the eHealthExchange, CommonWell, and CareQuality. Includes troubleshooting the flow of patient demographics and ID into the HIE and related interactions with DEERS via Rhapsody.
Troubleshooting the flow of immunizations into and out of MHS GENESIS (including round trip related issues) including between MHS GENESIS and the MIP-ITR
Supporting questions related to interoperability (DOD/VA HIE and HL7 v2 interfaces)
Validating message and documents against the HL7 v2, v3, and C-CDA standards/specifications.
Supporting the synchronization of Allergy, Problems, and Medication lists between Millennium and Dentrix--including the standard terminology mapping for the items on the list that have one.
Leading design and analysis sessions with various stakeholders with deeper understanding of various data sources to meet health data strategy goals.
Participating as a lead or Subject Matter Expert (SME), responsible for strategy, set-up and design of transformational data and technical architecture supporting application of member clinical insights into operational use cases.
Taking a hands-on role on issues related to data interoperability, data capabilities and data readiness.
Required Qualifications:
MS degree or BA/BS with demonstrated equivalent work experience.
At least 10 years of prior relevant experience.
At least 5 years of experience in Health Care data analysis.
Working knowledge of the HL7 v2, HL7 v3, HL7 FHIR, and HL7 C-CDA specifications and ability to validate messages against those standards.
Ability to query (SQL and/or related query language CCL) databases to validate data transforms and validate data flows.
Ability to break down data flows into component parts (e.g. DB => message generation => interface engine => external system(s)).
Preferred Qualifications:
Working familiarity with health information exchanges, data interoperability, longitudinal health records.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records and clinical data architecture.
Clearance requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
US Citizenship is required.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.The projected compensation range for this position is $141,100-$234,400. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
