About the Role

　　 *This role is based in Shanghai, China

　　Join our global analytics team at Riskified as we expand our operations in Shanghai! We're on the lookout for our first Data Analyst in Shanghai to play a pivotal role in our Merchant Health Team. As a Data Analyst, you’ll work directly with enterprise customers and be responsible for Riskified’s customers’ performance and online fraud prevention in real-time. You will take a major part in the research of new online-fraud trends, in a super-dynamic environment, and therefore stand at the forefront of Riskified’s work. You’ll be leveraging your analytical skills and knowledge of our product to provide meaningful insights to our merchants.

　　

What You'll Be Doing

Conduct in-depth data research and exploration utilizing advanced analytical tools within a high-level technical environment Effectively communicate analytical insights and complex  technical methodologies to both technical and non-technical audiences Collaborate with diverse teams within Riskified to optimize processes and address customers’ requirements Engage with account managers, directly interface with clients, and provide analytical insights to address business inquiries Define and execute end-to-end technical solutions for fraud-prevention challenges Master the online fraud prevention domain through hands-on analysis of live data

Qualifications

At least 3 years of hands-on experience as a data analyst Proven expertise in complex SQL queries and analysis tools such as R and Python  Strong analytical skills and experience analyzing complex data Problem-solver with critical thinking skills Ability to work simultaneously on different tasks and lead multiple projects Fluent in both written and verbal communication in English and Chinese (Mandarin) Effective presentation skills, with a track record of client-facing experience Essential - experience in fraud, payments, or ecommerce domains
