We are hiring for a TOP Healthcare System who is seeking Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their team in Westchester County, NY! This is an excellent opportunity for growth with one of the largest healthcare systems in the area, and requires a NYS Clinical Labratory Technologist License.

　　Job Description:

　　Performs laboratory tests and procedures, which require independent judgment and responsibility with minimal supervision by the lead tech and laboratory supervisor.

　　Documents daily QC and corrective action as needed.

　　Performs calibrations, linearity testing, and proficiency testing as required.

　　Enters and verifies laboratory results in the LIS.

　　Assists with the training and orientation of departmental personnel.

　　Resolves problems with technical testing, and proficiency testing as required.

　　Enters and verifies laboratory results in the LIS.

　　Assists with training and orientation of departmental personnel.

　　Resolves problems with technical testing involving methodology, techniques, and instrumentation utilization.

　　Reviews and evaluates test results and reports for accuracy, precision, readability, and consistency.

　　Collects data, prepares reports, and compiles statistics directed.

　　Checks supply inventory.

　　Attends required meetings and participates in professional development activities.

　　Maintains patient confidentiality.

　　Performs related work as required.

　　Qualifications:

　　Cytotechnologist

　　ASCP certified OR NCA Cert

　　1+ years experience preferred

　　Lab testing

　　BS degree in medical technology/sciences field

　　NYS license
