　　Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is looking for a Cytologist

　　RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Performs microscopic examination of gynecologic and non-gynecologic slides for abnormal cellular changes,

　　Responsible for referring appropriate cases for hierarchical review,

　　Maintains appropriate workload and quality assurance records,

　　Performs all duties in accordance with state and federal regulations,

　　Performs additional tasks as requested by Chairman of Pathology or his/her designee,

　　QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Bachelor of Science degree preferred,

　　Minimum of 12 months training in an accredited school of cytology,

　　Certification by American Society of Clinical Pathology

　　One-year experience as a cytologist preferred,
