  The Role:

  The Cybersecurity Vulnerability Remediation Analyst, VP is a senior level professional position responsible for analyzing the Vulnerability Threat Managements and work with different teams to deploy the solutions to prevent any security risks, develop the dashboards and run the reports. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's Cybersecurity Risk policy.

  Responsibilities

  Remediate vulnerabilities via monthly OS patching on 10k+ servers and schedule changes for items outside OS patches like EOVS tools/products

  Create the Ansible playbooks for automation to avoid any manual errors

  Resolve any vulnerabilities or issues detected in an application or infrastructure

  Develop dashboards and reports using latest technologies

  Track, schedule and remediate vulnerabilities reported in several reports or OS, Database and Middleware

  Deploy and design large scale complex security applications

  Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls and for the supported groups

  Schedule the meetings with different support teams to review the vulnerabilities and remediation strategy for OS

  Review and validate automated testing results and prioritize actions that resolve issues based on overall risk

  Reduce risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions

  Direct the development and delivery of secure solutions by coordinating with business and technical contacts

  Integrate existing website with other systems like ServiceNow and other internal systems using REST calls

  Scan and analyze applications with automated tools, and perform manual testing if necessary

  Qualifications

  6-8+ years' experience in cybersecurity roles or comparable System Administration positions

  Strong proficiency in developing applications using ASP.Net and C#

  Extensive knowledge in developing REST APIs using C#

  Extensive knowledge of complex database designs

  Strong knowledge of how to interface with these databases, analyze & write complex queries & procedures using Microsoft SQL Server

  Must have experience following and developing procedures for operational support along with sensible documentation skills using well known tools & web applications

  Ability to fine tune SQL queries and tables to improve performance

  Must have strong experience with production server support, application upgrades and project life cycle/SDLC process

  Integration of server performance and capacity monitoring tools with various products

  Experience in using source control (Git/Bitbucket) and required commands to check-in, check-out and merge source code

  Deploying applications on IIS web server, installing SSL certificates

  Cybersecurity conscious with experience deploying security related updates to application and has deep understanding of server level patching mechanism

  Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and software

  Clear and concise written and verbal communication

  Proven analytical, influencing, and relationship management skills

  Fluently communicates in both written and oral English

  Must have exceptional analytical skills

  Strong customer/client and quality-focus

  Sound problem resolution, judgment and decision-making skills

  Additional skills that are a big plus:

  Experience using ticketing/change control systems like ServiceNow

  Certification with any of the required technical skills mentioned above

  Knowledge of Windows Servers

  Basic knowledge of shell scripting and RHEL OS

  Workload Automation & Job Execution tools

  Experience with documenting within web based collaboration tools like SharePoint

  Experience working and implementing tools that monitoring infrastructure server utilization and services

  Education

  Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent

  Master’s degree preferred
