The Work
ICF is seeking a Cyber Security Architect to support California State Government customer applications, which are built with Sitecore and React components on Microsoft Azure. The delivery team consists of delivery support, front and back-end developers, UX/UI designers, content strategists, SMEs, business analysts, testers, and infrastructure and security professionals. The team works in 2-week iterations (10-week program increments) to develop new features, functionality, and modernization supporting both Information Technology and Marketing roadmaps.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform holistic system assessment and risk analysis
Investigate approaches and techniques to improve security and efficiency
Serve as subject matter expert for industry best practices
Respond to questionnaires regarding current state of controls and risk
Work across multiple teams to identify and implement required controls
Document and socialize standards and requirements
Help assess and design operational requirements
Help coordinate incident response and disaster recovery scenarios
Research and respond to emerging threats
Based on your experiences and interests, we may ask you as a technology professional to support growth-related activities, including (but not limited to) RFI, RFP, prototypes, and oral presentations. Team members are also expected to uphold and maintain appropriate certifications necessary for their practice expertise.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of general technology experience in internet website hosting technologies
3+ years of experience in cyber security operations to include experience with building, hosting, programming/developing, running, and/or securing websites
3+ years of experience with on-prem and cloud best practices (Azure or AWS)
1+ year of people management experience
MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.)
As a contractor to federal or state governments, all hires may be required to complete additional background screenings at the time of hire or any time thereafter as requested.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Azure cloud best practices (AZ-500 Certified is a plus)
Desire for growth and development of security skills
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong ability to multi-task, respond and think quickly
Must be flexible enough to work overtime when needed
Fluent in information security concepts

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:
$112,513.00 - $191,273.00
