Summary/Objective:

　　The cut associate position operates cutting equipment and secondary equipment in order to provide quality product to the customer

　　Essential Functions:

　　Performs all assigned machine operationsRead job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirementsDetermine the appropriate cutting equipment and methods based on requirementsSet up, adjust and operate machinery and equipment to cut parts to specificationsMaintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safetyEnsure work is done safely, consistently and meets quality standardsObserve machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunctionsInspect cut surfaces and structure to ensure accuracy and discover flawsRemove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from workpieceIdentify, tag and remove non-conforming materialsAccurately complete all required paperwork in a timely mannerCommunicate with other departments as necessaryKeep work areas clean and organizedAdhere to all company rules and policiesPerforms other related duties as assigned by supervisor
