OVERVIEW
The Bulk & Liquid Team Manager directs, and coordinates Bulk loading gran & liquid operations including directing union personnel on rotating shifts.
DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate loading/unloading operations. Assigns duties and ensures conformance to policies and procedures.
Maintain a high level of interaction with all associates.
Draft weekly labor schedules that support operational imperatives.
Maintains labor cost based on scheduling attainment.
Orders materials through SAP.
Inspects area of operation to ensure supervisor & hourly expectation job task compliance.
Executes yearly performance evaluations for indirect reports based on yearly set objectives.
Communicates & schedules specialty product completion through the Planning Team.
Coach & mentors indirect reports.
Interacts with M & R to include outside contractors to complete mission critical repairs.
Submits necessary work orders through SAP for department equipment repairs.
Analyzes area operations in order to make sure processes & procedures are aligned with Quality expectations.
Maintains
Supports and maintains company policies.
Reports out daily to senior plant level leadership on Business unit performance.
Drives continuous improvement through team engagement.
Picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity and following FIFO policy.
Ensure that shipments are according to work order customer specifications.
Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all bulk & liquid loading equipment.
Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.
Lead operations in a way that enforces safety & quality practices and standards.
Assure product transfers within the tower or liquid station support customer expectations.
Produce and analyze reports related to business unit expectations.
Responsible for the security, safety, quality of all personnel, equipment, and product.
Schedules necessary training for personnel to assure all personnel are qualified in order to execute business plan.
Reasonable overtime (including weekends) required.
Qualifications:
Minimum one year of bulk or liquid loading experience. Previous work history considered.
Experience in a union environment.
Successful communication - written and verbal.
Ability to establish priorities and multi-task.
Experience with personal computers.
Ability to understand, produce and explain reports.
Wonderware, Truck Scale experience a must!
MS Office (Word / Excel / Email) preferred
Must be able to work weekends, overtime, holidays as needed.
Excellent Communication Skills
Must physically be mobile to walk through assigned departments and be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
Able to learn & perform functions/job task in Bulk & Liquid Loading in order to relate to daily operational issues & provide guidance on solutions.
Lead by example.
Other assigned duties as necessary.

Manage 4-5 subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 45-60 employees. Perform supervision within the organization's policies and applicable laws.
