Here's How
As the Customer Technical Communications Specialist for our Individual Animal Management (IAM), Performance Enhancement Product Protocols (PEPP), and Feeds and Feeding (FF) teams, you will coordinate activities associated with the delivery of those service modules, which are a part of TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Good's commercial feedlot service package. Working as a part of an established team, you will not only be responsible for data management and analysis but also for communicating and liasing directly with customers that subscribe to the aforementioned service modules.
What you'll do
Communicate technical information associated with the IAM, PEPP, and FF service modules directly with clients
Implement data extraction, data collection, data collation, summarization, verification, analysis, and interpretation with proficiency
Identify areas where the team can improve its data collection, verification, and standard operating procedures
Reconciliate client accounts, specifically related to production data, which includes the recognition of outliers and errors
Collaborate with consultants and team members as required for the delivery and support of current and future service modules that Feedlot Health provides to its clients.
Qualifications:
A PhD or Masters degree in the areas of animal science, feedlot nutrition, animal growth, and/or meat science OR a deemed equivalent combination of education and experience
Excellent communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with clients and follow customer narratives related to the IAM, PEPP, and FF service modules
Previous experience working with data including verification summarization, and analysis
Exceptional attention to detail with a desire to ensure data integrity and presentation to clients in a consistent format
Excellent computer and data analytics skills, with a demonstrated excellence in proficiently using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and SQL
A demonstrated ability to work individually and in a team environment
Willingness to learn new software programs such as SnowFlake and Tableau
Self starter with ability to meet deadlines even in times of minimal oversite
