About Customer Service Representative (Reservationist)

  This employer will be on-site conducting interviews at our Multi-Industry Job Fair which will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the PA CareerLink Bucks County, 4800 E.   The Reservations Department functions as the initial client contact. The Reservationist serves as the customer relations and customer data integrity resource of BCT. The qualified candidate is trained to handle general routine interactions externally with clients, as well as internally with Dispatch, Scheduling and Management, all to provide an excellent customer service experience.

  Required Qualifications:

  Must have computer skills and experience with online web navigation.Proficiency Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and computer scheduling systemsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsMinimum 2 Years of Customer Service experience requiredGood understanding of management practices and techniquesExcellent interpersonal skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Responsibilities:

  Oversee the guest/client experience and ensure a personal, friendly experience for anyone calling in to the Reservations Department and maintain complete accessibility in both availability and warmth of character.Provides clerical support when needed to assist clerical staff with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.Processes initial passenger application and account information, change requests.Processes trip bookings, trip subscriptions, verifies pick up/return data and makes adjustments communicating simultaneously with Dispatch to ensure information is received and updated.Verifies MATP pre-trip and post-trip rides have been completed as scheduled.Mails applications out to prospective passengers upon request.Ensure peak organizational operations and provide preventative measures by identifying issuesImplement established policies and procedures, measure outcomes against standards, and improve operational flow when identified.Provide direct administrative supports as needed, including scheduling appointments, meetings, and events, maintaining filing system, mailing and shipping packages, and updating contact database and employee listCollaborates with Dispatch and Scheduling to ensure client data is properly documented and changed as needed.Performs other related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.Essential Functions:
