Description We are on the lookout for a well-versed Customer Service Representative to become part of our Engineering team in New York. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with addressing customer inquiries, managing customer accounts, and ensuring the accurate processing of customer applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Responding to customer queries and concerns effectively and accurately to ensure they feel valued and supported

• Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, providing an exceptional customer experience

• Utilizing various software, databases, and tools to ensure efficient service delivery

• Engaging in active listening with customers to confirm or clarify information and manage difficult situations when necessary

• Building meaningful relationships with customers based on trust and reliability

• Adhering to all company policies and procedures to uphold the company's integrity

• Participating in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company and the position

• Making recommendations for products or services that may better suit customer needs to improve customer satisfaction

• Processing customer credit applications accurately and promptly

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records Requirements • Strong proficiency in answering inbound calls with professionalism and courtesy.

• Experience in a call center customer service environment, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve customer queries and complaints effectively.

• Proficiency in data entry tasks, with a focus on accuracy and speed.

• Ability to effectively manage email correspondence, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.

• Experience with both inbound and outbound calls, demonstrating strong multitasking skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to handle complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting tasks.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, format, and edit documents efficiently.

• Experience with order entry systems, demonstrating accuracy and attention to detail.
