We are seeking an Account Representative to join our team in the healthcare industry. This role is based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The main job function of this role is customer service, with a focus on account management and patient advocacy in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients in applying for medical assistance programs

• Provide guidance to patients in navigating through medical bills, insurance benefits, and available financial resources

• Determine the best sources of payment for services provided to patients

• Collaborate with patients, physicians, nursing staff, pharmaceutical and insurance companies

• Efficient handling of inbound and outbound calls • Conduct data entry tasks and manage email correspondence

• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for various tasks

• Schedule appointments as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proficiency in answering inbound calls and managing inbound and outbound calls

Experience in a call center customer service role

Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred.

Ability to perform data entry tasks with accuracy

Skilled in email correspondence and maintaining detail oriented communication

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Experience in the healthcare, hospitals or social assistance industry

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

Ability to work in a team and contribute to a positive working environment

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging customer interactions with patience and professionalism.
