Purpose of the Job This position is responsible for creating a positive first impression and serving as an informational and/or wayfinding resource for patients, volunteers and other guests at Ridgeview. Job Functions 1.Greets and provides a welcoming experience for internal and external customers in alignment with Ridgeview's You Matter Here brand promise. 2.Provides wayfinding and informational assistance to customers. 3.Serves as a resource for front-lobby and gift shop volunteers. 4.Answers telephones and accesses computerized information to provide general information about the organization and/or patient information. 5.Assists with record keeping, reports and mailings as requested. 6.Supports emergency management plans as required. 7. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience High School Graduate or equivalent One Year of customer service experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to performance basic math functions, count money and operate a cash register Ability to operate and troubleshoot office machines Ability to multi-task Knowledge of basic computer functions and Microsoft Office applications Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse customer populations. Ability to work autonomously and as a team Capable of making independent decisions with the use of good critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence to complete job functions as mentioned above.
