Our optical manufacturing lab is seeking a Customer Service Lab Tech to perform duties on our production floor and serve as liaison to our external Store associates in fulfilling customer orders.
Shift Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm
Entry base pay of $15.50/hr PLUS bi-weekly bonus opportunities, great PTO plan and benefits!
General Summary: To support the stores regarding orders sent to both the POS and DVI system.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Respond to portal requests, calls and emails from our stores for customer job orders
Key in special orders
Process edit jobs and other jobs sent to customer service for various optical or other reasons
Track orders, research and expedite necessary or rush jobs
Explain problem orders, delays or other issues
Tag jobs and utilize reports in DVI and AS/400 to expedite orders
High School graduate or equivalent formal education
Must be able to read and write English
No specific experience required but an optical background is desired
