Department Summary
The Marketing Specialist II plays a crucial role within the Video Services Marketing department, specifically contributing to the Customer Retention Marketing team. This position is centered around supporting the execution of proactive and reactive marketing communications related to programming contract expirations and the customer referral program.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Effectively manage the Video Services programming expiration schedule, ensuring the timely deployment of customer communication tactics, offers, and solutions
Oversee and enhance the Video Services customer referral marketing program to drive engagement and growth
Collaborate seamlessly with teams across Programming, Product, Brand, Satellite Operations, Call Center Operations, and Analytics to execute successful marketing and communication campaigns
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
Contribute to other projects and initiatives as required by the dynamic needs of the business
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications or related field
3+ years of relevant Project Management and Marketing experience, including creating marketing collateral, developing marketing communications, and executing campaigns
Skills and Qualifications:
Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft and edit copy for various communication pieces
Project Management : Strong project management and organizational skills
Initiative: A self-starter with problem-solving abilities and the capacity to provide suggestions and alternative options in unexpected situations
Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who enjoys developing and implementing department and project processes
Multitasking: Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively to meet key program deadlines consistently
Business Writing: Excellent business writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and proofreading
Flexibility: Willingness to work nights and weekends when required
Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient in Microsoft and/or Google office applications
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $63,150.00/Year - $80,000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
