　　Process sales transactions using appropriate equipmentComply with all check acceptance procedures, process credit cards and money orders according to Company proceduresPrepare cooked foods as directed by Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Area SupervisorStock shelves with merchandise, block shelves, bag ice and maintain soft drink bags-in-boxSet up advertising displays or arrange merchandise to promote sales in accordance with directives from Marketing DepartmentClean shelves, counter, floor, restrooms, glass and equipment both inside and outside of the store. Sweep floors, sweep parking lots, remove garbage, litter or debris from store floor and parking lot, ensure store and walkways are free from clutter, water, ice or any other conditions that may pose a risk to customer safety.Properly handle supplies, spoilage or over-rings.Attach and maintain shelf tags and scan products as directedEffectively communicate and interact with customersComplete Shift Checks and all other required paperwork on a timely basisControl money in register and follow Company guidelines for cash limitsOther duties as deemed necessary and as assigned by managementPHYSICAL DEMANDS:

　　Move merchandise/equipment weighing up to a maximum of 60 lbs., with frequent moving of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. Examples: Stack/unstack milk cases in 3" to 4" aisle (approx 50 lbs.). Replace and reconnect soft drinks syrup containers beneath fountain drink dispensers (Approx 50 lbs.); move cases of cooking oil and antifreeze (Approx. 50 lbs.): move trash/garbage into dumpster. Outside garbage containers may require moving up to 60 lbs. Unload trucks containing merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs.Work on concrete floors. Standard shifts are 8 hours. (10 hours for Store Managers).Receive, price and stock merchandise at various heights in designated store locations (normally requres stooping, bending and stretching motions).Clean/dust equipment, floors shelves, windows using soap, water and household cleaners.Working conditions involve sudden changes in temperatures, i.e. walk-in coolers, outdoor maintenance of store and gas islandAbility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate and overtime as requiredOther physical demands deemed necessary in order to accomplish tasks as assigned by management
