About Custom Software Engineering Manager

  Custom Software Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Custom Software Engineering Manager in Arlington, VA, and the job duties are as follows:

  Design, develop and test custom software solutions across multiple system components or applications.

  Create implementation or integration approach for applications and components.

  Design and code applications in line with programming standards and interface specifications.

  Architect development strategy for applications and components.

  Coordinate development streams in line with overall program(s) timing and milestones.

  Build deployment plan, including the development plan and schedule, keeping in line with overall project timeline.

  Design, build, assemble, and configure application or technical architecture components using business requirements.

  Team with stakeholders on application and component design to secure buy in.

  Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.

  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry.

  Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  Utilizing .NET Technologies, including Visual Studio .NET;

  Utilizing Microsoft SQL Server and SQL programming;

  Utilizing JavaScript and Jscript for Scripting;

  Utilizing Microsoft Silverlight and HTML5; and

  Utilizing Microsoft Internet Information Services.

  Must have 1 year of experience in utilizing DevOps tools, including Jira, GitHub, and ServiceNow for managing project backlog and incident tracking.

  Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
