　　Summary:**

　　The CTO possesses a high-level understanding of organizational structure and goals while working with district leadership to identify steps needed to transform educational and operational technology vision into a strategic plan that aligns to WBSD #7's mission, vision and goals. This position supervises all aspects of Technology Services including supervision of staff, budgeting and purchasing, implementation of systems and hardware, and professional development opportunities by empowering team members and stakeholders to reach proficient levels to meet district objectives.

　　Supervisory Responsibilities:

　　Directly supervises Technology Operations Manager, Director of Data and Integrated System Management, and Administrative Assistant positions.Indirectly supervises all Technology Services staff members.Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing and recommending candidates for hire, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Technology Skills:

　　An individual should have working knowledge of networking, routing and switching, firewalls, Internet VPN's, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. The individual should have excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis, and computer hardware/software systems.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
