Kelly is currently seeking an experienced Central Time Entry Technician to join a leading team in the Freeport, Texas area! The Central Payment Process Technician facilitates and expedites the Freeport vendor payment process from invoice to payment receipt, primarily focusing on the CATS and SES process in SAP. The employee has the central responsibility for process success, working across many site roles and functions to troubleshoot payment errors/delays, identify corrections, and communicate status and/or action needed to stakeholders.
Job Duties
Technician will be responsible for 30 maintenance vendors, ensuring billing and error corrections are current and resolving any issues causing delays
Analyzes SES/CATS data and identifies discrepancies
Determines and defines course of action to correct SES/CATS issues
Contributes to the development of the plan for management and control as it relates to the development of the Automated SES/CATS process
Notifies Contract Administrator when vendor billing is delayed and works with Contract Admin and vendor to facilitate catch-up (issues with PMOs, POs, incorrect invoice, Track delays, etc.)
Facilitates vendor training on process and error handling.
Modifies vendor training and process to fit the skillsets/needs of the vendor timekeeping staff
Troubleshoots and corrects all vendor billing errors caused by Dow
Analyzes and corrects pending payments from vendor Aging reports, working with Sourcing
Creates and runs Business Warehouse reports to analyze process data
Runs CATS data extracts to assist vendor payment reconciliation
Facilitates SES Rejections in SAP by working between the plant rep and the vendor for a resolution
Understands GMWP, P2P, Sourcing, and vendor roles as they relate to the CATS and SES processes
Recognizes and communicates when role responsibilities are not being met
Required Skills
Working knowledge of the following software and systems: SAP, Business Warehouse, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Access, Purchasing systems
Previous industrial related experience
Independently resolves situations by gathering and analyzing electronic data
Displays strong leadership skills by working between departments to facilitate innovative solutions
Experience with billing and PO practices is a plus, but could be obtained on the job
Good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Good organizational & communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to follow established processes
Close interaction with all roles for long term and on-the-spot problem resolution
Education/Certification Requirements
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
