KRCR has a great opportunity for you! We are looking for interns. Qualified candidates should also be planning and preparing for a job in digital content creation. We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated students who are looking to get the most out of their internship experience. You must be eligible to receive college credit to participate in this internship and be at least 18 years of age. This internship is unpaid. Credit Verification forms will be provided.

Internship Overview:

Are you a digital content creator who wants to learn more about commercial production and news promotions? If so, we want you on our team at KRCR! As a Creative Services Intern, you will have the chance to contribute to the creation of commercial production, news and radio promotion, experience location shoots, and witness the behind-the-scenes workings of a studio for The Northstate’s News, the #1 news leader in Northern California. No day is the same. If you excel in an active, fast-moving environment and have the drive to learn the many different areas of production, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

You will work with reporters, anchors, producers, editors, and photographers, in-house and in the field

You will receive training on various topics including how to produce a commercial, promos from start to finish, etc.

Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program.

You must be eligible to receive college credit to participate in this internship. This is an unpaid internship.

Willing to work approximately 15 hours a week for 10 weeks, beginning in February 2025 or sooner. There may be a variety in hours due to our news programming schedules.

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have reliable transportation and be able to work from our Redding, CA location.
