"Our client, a well-known design agency, is seeking a Creative Director to join their team. This is a full-time direct hire role, hybrid onsite, 1-2 days per week in Manhattan, flexible in the days. The ideal candidate has a hybrid skill set with a focus on print and packaging. You're client facing and comfortable presenting to clients. You come from an agency and CPG background. CREATIVE DIRECTOR DUTIES: Develop and deliver thought leadership and creative solutions that strengthen clients market distinction and leadership position Articulate and defend conceptual and directional choices Cultivate creative branding and packaging strategies Promote continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability Inspire and motivate creative teams and serve as overall creative lead and manage creative teams Lead and mentor junior creative staff through critique of their work to maintain exceptional creative quality and award-winning work Interface with production to understand final specifications and ensure that the design intent can be realized in the final productCREATIVE DIRECTOR REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years in a director role Strong leadership, creative, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and manage both the client and project team decisively and proactively Direct experience with branding strategy and packaging design Experience working with Global CPG Organizations Specific strength in public speaking/presentation Deep understanding of the design, dynamics and mechanics that drive branding and consumer packaging industry Must have the ability to travel in support of client workThis client offers medical, dental and vision insurance by reimbursing up to the first $2,000 of employees medical deductible (including office co-pays and prescription drugs), ten days of paid time off (increases with tenure); six days of sick leave per year,major federal holidays. fully paid two-week office closure at the end of the year.
