　　The Development Scientist I - 12-month FTC carries out the activities, application studies, experiments and investigations as assigned by their manager, Senior Biochemist or other designated person.

　　In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

　　Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.

　　Participates in the analysis, design and development of system applications.

　　Participates in simple process improvement projects.

　　Reports status of experiments to supervisor, writes simple experimental reports/protocols with supervision, gives small data presentations.

　　Trains new Development Scientists on Instrument set up/maintenance and department processes.

　　Provides quality assurance for adherence to technical standards.

　　Adheres to policies and procedures.

　　The essential requirements of the job include

　　Bachelor’s degree (Level 8) in Science
