Syracuse University’s mission is to create an engaging mobile experience for its students, faculty, and staff. The Creative Developer – Mobile App works collaboratively with the mobile experience team and its stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement featured content and engaging features for the Syracuse University mobile application.
A primary focus of the Creative Developer - Mobile App is to provide high-quality solutions to the evolving content needs of the mobile app to ensure continued relevance and sustainable growth of the mobile platform. The Creative Developer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of code (primarily, but not limited to: javascript, JSON, and the consumption of API-related data) to create custom content within the mobile app platform. In addition to providing strategic mobile platform support for campus collaborators, they will also provide tier 1 support for user-reported issues. They also stay apprised of industry improvements and recommend implementation plans.
