Key Responsibilities:
Lead to deploy Privacy operating model as per global Privacy implementation programme and lead ongoing maintain ace and managementAdopt and adapt global privacy programme and lead implementation with the input from legal regulatory trend monitoring and implication assessment & analysisWork with Legal, Compliance and Tech to establish implement of the China Privacy frameworkLeading Privacy compliance risk review and mitigationGlobal and local communication and coordinationAuthority reporting, coordination and communicationCoordination with internal and external resources during authority inspectionReport to authority if any incident or compliance issuesImplementation of local personal information protection
Implement local privacy SOPs and ensure effective execution in business operation processIntegrate privacy by design for all projects to ensure personal information are processed in compliant methods by GSK and engaged 3rd partiesJoin CSL/Tech the Security review and management on local applicationSupport Tech to check security design requirement for local application and self-assessmentSupport MLPS authority registration and assessment as necessaryCross-border data transfer managementEstablish cross-border data transfer policy and processConduct risk assessment for cross-border data transfer and registration in authorityMonitor legislation and standard setting in privacy protection and data security area, deliver trainings and campaigns so as to improve and evolve local awareness and practice in privacy protection and data security perspective.Leadership expectation:
Leading the deployment of a privacy operating model in China and transition to BAU Leading the cross functional collaboration between privacy, the business teams, tech and legal Driving a culture of data privacy across the business Being the voice of consumer rights within the business
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:Law degree or equivalent in your home jurisdiction, plus 10 + years post-qualification experience in the areas below.Attain recognized professional qualification, CIPT/CIPM/CIPP qualification is preferred;Excellent knowledge in GDPR and China privacy protection related laws, regulations, standards and policies;Excellent knowledge and experience in pharmaceutical digital solutions and data governance;Excellent experience in implementing privacy and data protection programme in MNCs, and leading investigation & mitigation actions; Good English is important to deploy & localise privacy programmeOverseas working experience will be ideal, local talent with experiences working with global/regional stakeholders are preferred;Strong collaboration, open-minded, simple/concise communication skills are key leadership attributes for this role as the role holder will work closely with the peer group (Legal, Compliance and Tech) to partner business stakeholders;Business experience in the area of digital, direct to business sector is more preferred than having strong Privacy professional knowledge & Background,InfoSec background that specialise in privacyCompliance officers with added privacy responsibilityDigital marketer the pivots from marketing to risk mgmt.Working experience in consulting firm with strong organisational skill & project management skills is welcome tooWhy Us?
