Counter Attendants, Cafeteria, Food Concessions, and Coffee Shop (Mobile) - 12 fulltime, temporary, seasonal (H-2B) jobs available 04/01/2024-10/31/2024

　　Employer: KC Concessions, Inc., 22-76 Steinway Street, Suite B, Astoria, NY 11105.

　　Duties: Perform variety of attending duties at mobile carnival food concessions. Set up, tear-down, operate mobile food concessions.

　　Work starts in Queens County, NY with additional work to follow in various locations along an itinerary: Ulster County, NY; Horry County, SC; Fulton County, GA; Nassau, Albany, Suffolk Counties, NY; Bergen County, NJ; Orange, Ulster, Erie, Dutchess, Onondaga, Columbia, Rensselaer Counties, NY; Henderson, Buncombe, Forsyth, Wake Counties, NC.

　　Must commute from home at prior worksite, to next worksite. Optional transportation offered by the employer at no cost to the worker.

　　Optional mobile housing (valued at $125.00 per week) and local convenience travel (valued at $25.00 per week) are available at no cost to the worker.

　　Work days: Work schedule varies widely, typically 40 H/W Wed-Sun, 1:00PM to 10:00PM. Employer will pay the prevailing hourly wage for each work location, ranging from $10.97-$16.08/hr. No OT.

　　No minimum education or experience required, on-the-job training will be provided. Will accept trainee.

　　Company specific uniforms will be provided and laundered by the employer at no charge.

　　The job requires the applicant to be qualified, ready, willing, able, and available to perform during the entire employment at the designated worksites; and to follow workplace rules. Post-employment random drug testing and background checks may be required, at no cost to the worker.

　　A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid weekly. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made.

　　Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

　　If employee housing is not onsite at the worksite, employer will provide daily transportation to and from the housing to the worksite at no cost to the worker.

　　H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Daily subsistence rates are $15.46/day without receipts or up to $59/day with receipts.
