　　We are hiring for a Cost Accountant to join one of our area's most esteemed Finance teams! As a Cost Accountant, your primary activities will relate to sales and gross margin reporting. Additionally, you'll get involved in forecasting and budgeting, preparing journal entries, and capacity planning.

　　This is an immediately available opportunity that can lend interim support to a growing and transforming team and/or it can provide a great runway into an evolving role and transform into a full-time, career track opportunity. Both capacities are openly considered by the client.

　　In the capacity of Cost Accountant, you will positively impact this team through activities such as:

　　Manage cost accounting for the organization, including inventory records, transactions, and gross margin

　　Investigate, analyze and communicate finding related to financial performance

　　Research and analyze historical data; work with detailed data and maintain traceability to a summary level

　　Conduct financial and operational audits by examining and verifying accounting or operational records

　　Analyze and respond to customer fact-findings and external audits

　　Prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management

　　Requirements

　　Command of and excitement for flexing your Microsoft Excel skills

　　Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance

　　Ability to work with data of complex and diverse scope

　　Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions

　　Sees solutions and finds way forward in a changing technology environment (they are about to embark upon a significant system change which is enthusiastically awaited)
