Description:
• Own cost accounting processes for US and international manufacturing entities, including but not limited to: o Performing rate calculations and cost rolls o Conducting project cost tracking and analysis o Reconciling inbound/outbound freight and tariffs and analyzing costs o Managing transfer pricing structure between entities o Maintaining country of origin on inventory items o Analyzing and researching inventory variance accounts o Leading the analysis and implementation of improvements and adjustments to costing systems as necessary o Fielding adhoc reporting and analysis requests • Own and manage fixed asset tracking and reconciliation. • Manage sales commissions to outside distribution representatives. • Support month-end accounting close process and assist in producing monthly financial reports. • Participate in annual audit. • Provide backup support for AR and AP processes. • It is the responsibility of all employees to: o Comply with all Safety requirements of the position and the facility. o Follow the policies outlined in the Employee handbook and the posted Work Rules and behave in an ethical manner. • This Job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities of the employee. Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Required • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with 1- 3 years’ experience in similar corporate environment • Prior experience in cost accounting and ERP systems • Exceptional MS Excel experience • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interpret financial documents with clarity Preferred • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • 3+ years’ experience in cost accounting • Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools • Demonstrated personal motivation with a focus to complete assigned goals
