Correctional Officers are responsible for the supervision, care, custody, control, and physical restraint, when necessary, of inmates in a Correctional Institution or facility.
Requirements:At a minimum, successful applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Be at least 18years of age (no maximum age requirements)Be a United States CitizenPossess a High School Diploma or equivalentPossess a valid driver's license for required travelEmployer conducts drug screening, fingerprinting and background investigation which includesfelony convictions; misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement; misdemeanor conviction of domestic violence.Following steps required to becoming a Correctional Officer (to be considered all steps must be completed.Step I: Complete the State of Florida ApplicationStep 2:Submit a supplemental application which authorizes the agency to complete a background check (You will be texted and emailed a link within one business day after completing above steps.)Step 3: Complete a behavioral assessment
Work Schedule: Full time, must be flexible - hours not specified
Salary: $22.00 per hour
