The Corporate Tax Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing federal and state corporate tax returns, partnership returns, calculating book-tax differences, state apportionment calculations, assisting with annual tax provision calculations, and handling quarterly estimates and annual extension calculations. Additionally, this role will involve preparing account reconciliations, responding to state tax notices, and providing support on various tax projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate tax regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Job duties include:Preparation and review of federal and corporate income tax extensions and tax returns, single and consolidated filings.Preparation and review of statecorporate income tax extensions and tax returns, single and combined filings.Preparation and review of federal and state partnership returns.Calculation and preparation of state apportionment workpapers.Calculate and review state quarterly estimated tax payments.Assist in calculation of year-end tax provision.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax.At least 3+ years corporate tax return preparation experience.Experiencepreparing corporate tax returns using Corptax preferred.Solid grasp of general accounting concepts.Proficient in MS Excel.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines with accuracy and work well with other team members.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional InformationThe salary for this role is $75,000 - $87,000 depending on experienceAbout Informa:Informa is a leading business intelligence, academic publishing, knowledge and events group.We help customers in hundreds of professional, commercial and academic communities connect and learn, and create and provide access to content and intelligence so they can work smarter and make better decisions faster.Why work at Informa:Employee experience is very important to us at Informa.
