Veolia Environment (Paris Euronext: VIE) achieved consolidatedrevenue of 28,508 billion euros in 2021. www.veolia.com Job DescriptionPosition Purpose Reporting to the Director of Human Resources for theGroup Functions, the role of the Corporate HR Generalist is to provideadministrative assistance to the HRD, which oversees various departmentsincluding Finance, Communications, Digital Business & Technologies,Business Development, Strategy & Innovation, Human Resources, Legal,Compliance & Corporate Affairs. The HR generalist will be responsiblefor tasks such as maintaining electronic employee records, processingdata change requests, drafting internal mobility offer letters, aidingmanagers in the recruitment and onboarding of new employees, andsupporting HR projects and initiatives. Additionally, they will ensurecompliance with company policies and regulations. Primary Duties /Responsibilities * Provide administrative support: The HR Generalistwill be responsible for assisting the Human Resources Group Functionteam by providing administrative support in various areas such asmaintaining employee records and processing data change requests. *Support recruitment and onboarding: The HR Generalist will assistmanagers in the Talent Acquisition process by participating in therecruitment process and coordinating the onboarding process for newemployees. * Assist with HR projects and initiatives: The HR Generalistwill contribute to HR projects and initiatives by providing support inareas such as employee engagement, training and development programs,performance management, and employee relations. * Ensure compliance:The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance withcompany policies and regulations. This includes staying updated onrelevant employment laws and regulations, conducting audits, andimplementing necessary changes to maintain compliance. * Collaboratewith cross-functional HR teams: The HR Generalist will work closely withall HR Center of Excellence such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition,People Services and DE&I to effectively support the HR function withinthe organization. They will assist in preparation of KPI for the GroupFunctions in collaboration with the COE groups. * Maintainconfidentiality: The HR Generalist will handle sensitive employeeinformation and must maintain strict confidentiality and discretion atall times. * Provide HR support: The HR Generalist will provideadvisory support to employees and managers on HR-related matters,including HR processes, programs, policies and procedures. Overall, theCorporate HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the HRfunction and ensuring the smooth operations of various HR processeswithin the organization. Qualifications Education / Experience /Background * A bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or a related field is typically required. * A minimumof 3 years of experience in a similar role more specifically inCorporate environment Knowledge / Skills / Abilities * HR Knowledge:Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations isessential.
