Experience with private equitytransactions is preferred. The candidate must be admitted to the bar inIllinois or preparing to obtain such admission in 2023 throughreciprocity with another state and have excellent academic credentials.

　　Essential Functions:

　　Candidates for Associate positions must be able to provide effective andreliable legal services to clients and supervising attorneys.

　　Associates are routinely required to:

　　Draft transaction agreements and documents with efficiency andclarity;Negotiate deal terms alongside clients and supervising attorneys;Manage transaction closings and processes;Provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis;Competently and professionally communicate with clients andsupervising attorneys; andWork with and oversee more junior team members.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

　　Creativity and flexibility to handle numerous types and structuresof transactions;Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing;Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines;Ability to work professionally and effectively with Clients,Partners, Associate and Support Staff;Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team;Exceptional organization and project management skills; andA desire to grow the practice and engage with the Chicago businesscommunity.This position is not currently open to search firms.

　　Juris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed topractice law and in good standing in Illinois.
