  About the Team

  The Advanced Placement Program is comprised of multiple teams, eachworking to serve more than seven million students a year as they preparefor a successful transition to college through programs and services incollege readiness and college success - specifically through theAdvanced Placement (AP) Program. This position will work for two teams.The Curriculum and Assessment team, a team of 35,works alongside ourdevelopment committees, comprised of leading AP teachers and highereducation faculty, across all AP subject areas to develop and reviewtest content. The AP Higher Ed team, a team of 8, represents all APcourses to faculty and staff at colleges and universities across thecountry. Its focus is on securing new or improving existing credit orplacement policies for qualifying AP scores - work that then allowsstudents to benefit from the advanced work they engaged in during highschool. We pride ourselves on serving as ambassadors for the AP programto colleges and universities and because of our deep knowledge of thehigher ed landscape, we also act as strategic advisors to the APProgram.

  About the Opportunity

  As the Coordinator, Advanced Placement Program Development, you willplay a critical role to support two collaborative teams. In this role,you will work with our external partners who are integral into theAdvanced Placement program. You are eager to dive into details andproactively support both teams\' work to ensure our partners receivetimely reimbursement while also being a main contact for questions theconstituents may have about our processes..

  In this role, you will:

  Support of the Curriculum and Assessment Team: (50%)

  Assist with reimbursements, honoraria, contracting, invoices andother various payments throughout the year to ensure the DevelopmentCommittee operations runs smoothly and timely{=html}<>- Manage all aspects and have command of the Development Committee\'s CEU hours and certificate distribution- Play an integral role in preparation, organization and logistics of team meetings, and retreats (both virtual and in-person)- Complete routine date and information requests from College Board and our external stakeholders- Engage and build productive relationships with the Development Committee and external stakeholders- Maintain confidentiality and exercise superb judgment in dealing with sensitive information, respond to internal inquiries and/or escalate issues as necessary

  Support of the AP Higher Ed Team: (50%)

  Coordinate paperwork for participating faculty, includingconfidential tax informationCoordinate lodging and travel logistics for participating faculty,as appropriateEnsure on-time payments for participating facultyParticipate in Team meetings and, retreats, etc. (virtual andin-person)Manage and have command of all participating faculty information,including confidential personal informationProvide a wide range of administrative and operational support tothe participating faculty; including all travel arrangements,reimbursements, and paymentsEngage and build productive relationships with the participatingfaculty and external stakeholdersPlay an integral role in preparation, organization and logistics ofteam meetings, and retreats (both virtual and in-person)Maintain confidentiality and exercise superb judgment in dealingwith sensitive information, respond to internal inquiries and/orescalate issues as necessaryAbout You

  You are obsessed with details, highly organized, a d have impeccablefollow throughYou have a proactive mindset - ability and willingness toproactively solve problems, anticipate and prioritize key tasks andresolve issues.You have command of the technologies that guide our work,specifically Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Expense Systems (e.g.Concur){=html}<>- You have systems and routines that guide your daily operations and help you squeeze efficiency and productivity out of your time- You work well under pressure and value and seek out feedback- Strong written communicator who can communicate with all levels of internal and external stakeholders- You are trustworthy, have excellent judgment, and are a skilled collaborator- An ability to plan your work and prioritize projects, particularly in a work environment involving dotted reporting lines.- You have 2-3 years of experience in executive support or team support- A passion for supporting educational and career opportunities for millions of students
