  Description

  Summary:

  Develops and oversees activities designed to promote regulatory compliance and continual survey readiness.

  Work Schedule: Full Time Days

  Responsibilities:

  Stays informed of regulatory/standards changes and interprets applicability of changes across patient care, ancillary, and general departments.

  Develops, implements, and maintains processes to manage the reporting, investigation, and resolution of regulatory issues.

  Guides action plan development, performance monitoring and reporting when deficiencies are identified to reduce the risk of noncompliance.

  Works collaboratively to identify best practices, ensure survey readiness, and prepare/deliver compliance communications and training throughout the organization.

  Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

  Registered Nurse

  Other information:

  Minimum Required Education: Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.

  Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

  Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Relevant life support certification as determined at position level.

  Minimum Experience: 4 years' clinical experience in a hospital setting, including experience with regulatory requirements.

  The pay range for this position is: $36.47 - $56.52 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
