Weekendsand holidays are required. Will train to prepare, season, and cook bygrilling, frying, sauteing, and broiling food items in a restaurantaccording to restaurant guidelines and recipes to the specifications ofthe chef. This includes soups, sauces, meats, poultry, seafood,vegetables, and desserts. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for longperiods of time. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.\$18.28 p/hour or \$27.42 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. Noeducation or prior work experience is required. On the job training isprovided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary,lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost toworkers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period.Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes theemployment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$15.46 p/day duringtravel to a maximum of \$59 p/day with receipts. The employer willprovide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment requiredto perform the job. Employer will use a single work week for computingwages starting Monday at 12:01 am and ending Sunday at 11:59 pm and theemployee will be paid on Friday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workerswill be provided with reimbursement by company check during the firstworkweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passportcosts. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodgingmay be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer,employee cost for housing is \$125 p/week and is paid directly byemployee to employer each week. Housing is optional. Transportation isnot provided to worksite.
