*Prepare, season, and cook dishes such as soups, meats, vegetables, ordesserts in fine dining restaurants. May order supplies, keep recordsand accounts, keep inventory, clean and maintain kitchen and workenvironment to health code standards. May assit with unloading food andstocking kitchen. Each cook will receive 2 consecutive days off eachweek, work is M-Sat, kitchen is only open Tues - Sat. Shift is 1 PM to10 PM at the latest but may vary. Mon are for kitchen cleaning and prepfrom 1-4 PM. Involves loading and unloading tools and supplies andequipment weighing up to 50 lbs. Involves working outdoors in all typesof weather. Involves extensive standing, sitting or walking. Involvesfrequent stooping or bending. Involves repetitive movements.. Freehousing if available. Free staff meal at least 1x per shift, possiblyadditional meals depending on shift/day. 30 min staff lunch each shiftaround 4:30. Possibility of performance based raise, bonus, overtime andSaturdays as required. . 6 Months cook Experience Required. 0 minutes ofunpaid breaks throughout the day.
*Terms and Conditions of Employment: \$17.57 to \$19.57 per hour.Minimum of 40 hours per week - Tues-Sat (with a possibility of Sat.),1:00:00 PM to 10:00:00 PM (schedules may vary). Overtime is available asneeded. Overtime rate is \$26.36 to \$29.36. Possibility of Performancebased raise. On the job training provided.
*Housing: If requested, employer may assist non-local workers securingoptional worker-paid lodging (not to exceed fair market value, based onnumber of occupants; cost TBD). Housing costs paid directly to landlordand are not payroll deducted. Transportation: Employer will provideadvance transportation costs for most economical common carrier forworkers, either foreign or domestic, to place of employment from placeof recruitment and reimburse subsistence when worker completes 50% ofthe work period.
*Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissedearlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs ofreturn transportation and subsistence back home or to the place theworker originally departed to work, except where the worker will notreturn due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount oftransportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the mosteconomical and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved.Daily subsistence to be reimbursed at a minimum amount of \$15.46 perday during travel to a maximum of \$59.00 per 24 hour period (withreceipts) of travel.
*Three-fourths guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work forhours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-weekperiod of the total employment period.
*Tools, Equipment and Supplies: Employer will provide all tools andsupplies, without charge or deposit, necessary to perform job duties. Onthe Job Training Provided.
*Miscellaneous: Employer will use a single work week as its standardfor computing wages due; pay is Bi-Weekly.
* Employer will not make any deductions which are not required by lawunless employee requests or agrees to certain deductions in regards toadvance pay, reimbursements, etc. Deductions will not drop the overallwage below the UDSOL minimum, if the deductions are too great they willnot be made. H-2B Worker\'s whom paid visa, border and or other visarelated fees, including those mandated by the government, will bereimbursed by employer in the first workweek.
